What do you want to know about me?

Want to know what my favorite color, food, TV show is?  Or do you want to know the really juicy stuff?  Well, this isn't the forum for that, but here are a few things you may (or may not) know about me.

I’m originally from the Pittsburgh area (black 'n' gold baby!), near Monroeville. The family later moved near Seven Springs Ski resort. No I don't ski, but I've tried it and I liked it. Softball and volleyball were my passion back then.  I went to college at West Liberty STATE College to become a dental hygienist.  Instead I have a B.S. in BS…I mean “communications”.

I began working in radio before I graduated.  My resume includes radio stations in Ohio, PA and WV.  I've carried many titles at those stations: air personality, production director and copywriter, and program director.  A few awards from the West Virginia Broadcasters Association adorn my walls along with a few gold, silver and platinum records and lots of backstage photos. Yes, I've met a lot of rock stars. Some of the most memorable have been Rush, Bob Seger, and Metallica.

Outside the rooms with the padded walls, I love golfing, walking the trails at Oglebay-almost every evening in the summertime, lots of reading and going to movies, and trying any new recipe—although I’d rather dine out.  I make my own soap (weird huh) and I hate beer. I do a little gardening and have have won a few ribbons at the Ohio County Country fair-those are all from 2008).

I could spend hours and hours fishing on Lake Pymatuning in PA, (and, I have), then cooking over an open fire while sippin' on a glass of Lambrusco or Riesling, a good Scotch with a splash of water and a lime wedge, or gin with diet seven-up and a lemon wedge-very refreshing!

Oh, and my favorite colors:  black, beige, pink and green.  My favorite foods: chicken, salmon, and raspberries.  And, the only tv show I watch with any regularity is South Park.

I would rather "...go for a nice walk, smell that air, feel the temperature, hold onto the sense of the moment, take a drift on a trail, look deeply into the stream.  That means so much more than all the artifice in the world." -Dolly Parton (Nat'l Geo. Traveler Jul/Aug. 2009)

IDOL TONIGHT
Wednesday 03-23-2011 12:24pm ET

TOP 5 IDOL MOTOWN MOMENTS:

Adam Lambert, "The Tracks of My Tears." Season 8's resident glam rocker Adam Lambert isn't exactly your conventional Motown singer, but he still hit a home run with his suave version of "The Tracks of My Tears" by The Miracles.

Kelly Clarkson, "You're All I Need to Get By." The original American Idol, Kelly Clarkson, broke away from the pack when she belted out Marvin Gaye's "You're All I Need to Get By"

Clay Aiken, "I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)." Clay Aiken left his nerdy reputation in the dust with a sexy rendition of The Four Tops' "I Can't Help Myself" on Top 12 night.

Fantasia Barrino, "I Heard It Through the Grapevine." Season-three winner Fantasia Barrino sang a fun, quirky version of Marvin Gaye's "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" on Top 10 night.

Vonzell Solomon, "(Love Is Like a) Heat Wave." Vonzell Solomon's energetic Top 24 performance of "Heat Wave" ignited the slow burn that carried her through the finals all the way to season four's Top 3.
